Admissions Requirements – Bachelor of Nursing

Prospective students may apply at any time during the year, and if accepted, may begin in any term during the year of acceptance or the following year.

Below are our admissions requirements:

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You will meet with an Admissions Representative to go over our school catalog.
  • Pay a $100 non-refundable registration fee online with a credit card, debit card, or e-check.
  • Meet with our Director of Student Accounts & Finance to talk about payment plans and money responsibilities.
  • Review and sign the Pulse Radiology Institute Enrollment Agreement.
  • Send us proof that you graduated from high school or got your GED. You must send your official high school transcript or GED. (College degrees don’t count for this step.)
  • If you finished high school in another country and live in the U.S., you will need to meet with our Director of Admissions for an interview.
  • If your high school diploma is from another country, you must have it translated and checked by a special company to make sure it equals a U.S. high school diploma. This must be done before you start school.
  • Mail your official transcripts directly to:
  • Pulse Radiology Institute
  • 175 Hampton Point Drive, Suite 4
  • Saint Augustine, Florida 32092
  • You must pass a background check.
  • You must provide your immunization and medical records.
  • Some hospitals or clinics might ask for more things like CPR certification (BLS), health insurance, COVID shots, drug tests, and more. These will be your responsibility.
  • You must complete a short recorded online interview before you can enroll.
  • A $5,000 down payment is needed to start the RN to BSN program.

English Language Requirements (only if English is not your first language):

If you did not go to a school where English was the main language, you must show you can speak and understand English well. You can do this by:

  • Getting a certain score on English tests like TOEFL, IELTS, Pearson, Duolingo, or Michigan English Tests.
  • Showing a high school diploma from an English-speaking school.
  • Getting good scores on the College Board Accuplacer ESL exams.
  • Showing you have taken 30 college credits with at least a C average at an English-speaking college.
  • Showing you currently work in the United States in a job that requires speaking English.

If your school documents are not in English, they must be translated and reviewed by an expert before you apply.

Tuition and Fees

At Pulse Radiology Institute, we work hard to make school affordable for our students. Here’s how the payments usually work:

✔️ $100 registration fee when you sign up (this cannot be refunded)

✔️ $5,000 down payment when you enroll

✔️ $900 each month for 20 months

✔️ $150 graduation fee before you finish the program

Total Cost: $23,250

This payment plan helps students finish school without having big loans to pay back. With a down payment, easy monthly payments, and a small graduation fee, students can focus on their future without worrying too much about money.

Please remember: tuition and fees can change, but once you are enrolled and start classes, your price will not go up.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Students have the right to cancel and get all their money back before they start their first class, get their school materials, or within 5 business days after signing up — whichever happens last.

To cancel, students must send a written note (email or letter) to the school. The day we get the note is the day the cancellation starts. We will send any refunds within 30 days after we know a student has canceled or withdrawn.

If the school does not accept a student’s enrollment, we will give back all the money paid.

If a student cancels within 5 business days after signing up, we will refund all the money (except any non-refundable fees).

If a student cancels before classes begin, we will also refund all the money paid (except non-refundable fees).

If a student starts classes:

  • If the student completes less than 60% of the semester, we will refund part of the money based on how much of the semester the student finished.
  • If the student finishes 60% or more of the semester, no refund will be given.

For refunds, we will look at the date the student told us they are leaving or when the school decides they have withdrawn.

If the school collected extra money for things like a library card, test fees, or other services and didn’t pay those fees yet, the money will be refunded to the student within 30 days.

If a student finishes all their courses or officially withdraws, any money left in their account will be refunded within 30 days.

Transfer Credit Policy

Pulse Radiology Institute does not accept classes or credits from other schools. All students must start at the beginning of their program here.

If you want to move to another school later, it is up to that school to decide if they will accept the credits you earned at Pulse Radiology Institute.

The new school might not take your credits. If they don’t, you may have to retake some or all of your classes at that school.

Before you start here, you should check with any school you might want to attend later to see if they will accept your credits.
